July 28, 2009 – Network connectivity down on the South end of Campus

On Tuesday, July 28th the south end of campus experienced a network outage which affected Lamson Library, Highland Hall, Boyd Hall, Holmes House, and the Hall, Pemi and Belknap Residential halls.

On Sunday, June 21st the MIS team will be performing an Oracle upgrade to the servers which host various PSU databases.   This upgrade is part of the preparations taking place for the Banner 8  upgrade scheduled for mid-October.

Important update for computers running Windows Vista

Overview:
Windows has released a service pack update to the Vista operating system.  Service packs are important upgrades to the operating system that often contain bug fixes and other refinements. Computers which are not upgraded become susceptible to viruses and other malware over time.
